lol if the Megadeth song is off Peace Sells than epic fail for GH. Iron Maiden is cool except the fact that GH has like 4 Maiden songs and RB has 12

Of course they can have covers of songs on there, as long as they're master tracks, covers made by different bands and covers made by WaveGroup are two really different things.

Honestly, I would rather see a game focused more on guitar than the other instruments. Playing guitar on the Rock Band and GHWT was just boring as there were few songs with any high level of difficulty (there is only one song on Rock Band that I have failed on guitar). The songs have to be toned down so if the guitarist is a bit weak, it won't fail the whole band. There is too much focus on band gameplay than any one instrument. I would rather see GH5 go solely guitar and have Rock Band be for band gameplay.

did someone watched the E3 demo? its changing more and more to rock band :thumbdown: only useful thing is the instrument switch during playing. we had since GH3 a lot of GH games and every game was different it looks like that they dont know what they are doing.

What i mean is that... like they are using master tracks i doubt thy use a cover... They would rater use the song by the original band... Don't you think!?

There's plenty of cases where the cover version is actually better known than the original

I guess you all missed the point in the cover song thing. It was about covers made for the game by some random people who only try to imitate the original as well as possible, not covers such as Land of Confusion/Smooth Criminal/All Along the Watchtower where a popular band covers a song by another popular band.

Or maybe I missed the point, didn't read every post :tongue2: .


Really odd song choice for CoB btw... Why not Downfall or Hate Me or something like that?
