I could care less if it's hard. I'm getting it cause The Beatles are the ****.
That's the reason I'm getting it I was just trying to please everyone.
Not stopping me doing it twice with both hands. That's what she said.

Re: The Beatles:Rock Band information thread *update 8/08*
I got it today and I'm seriously thinking about returning it.
It's pretty, and the Beatles are a worthwhile band. End of positive review.
The charts are ridiculously easy plays, and they wrote out support for the default 360 mics, despite the front of the case telling you it supports many third-party microphones.... microsoft isn't third party, lol.
Blah. I've been a big supporter of Rock Band until this release, but it's really got nothing going for it besides graphicsglitter and the fact that RB bought rights to a reliably-sale-able act. They also wrote a "new engine" that seems more of a step back than a step forward. Play it on FOF, the only thing to be gained in RB is triple-vocals, but that only if you have three usb mics+stands laying around.

Other petty complaints from a few minutes play:
-All three guitars are right-handed
-audience noises are far more obnoxious than usual
-Gamestop "exclusive" pre-order songs are only exclusively free, not exclusive songs
-feels like they overcharted some things in efforts to up the difficulty
-they're selling three guitars, yet you can't even play two guitar tracks at once

Finally someone that can actually watch this game from both sides.

Added another complaint since you quoted me, lol. I'm really let down by this. Setlist-aside, just looking at things as a video game review without letting Beatles-love come into play, I'd rather have RB2.... even if they were both the same price today.
Now, I do like the Beatles, so I'll at least play through it before I return it, and I may decide to hang onto it, but the fact remains that if I was Harmonix right now I'd be hanging my head in shame at how obviously I exploited people's love for the Beatles instead of making a game that could be justified as the next in series in-and-of itself.

Re: The Beatles:Rock Band information thread *update 8/08*
Harmonix made a conscious decision to release RB3 on a two year development cycle. Although they could have potentially put more work into RB3, it wouldn't have affected the development time or release date. Most of the work on RBB was done alongside RB2

-Why would you expect any to be left handed when none have been so far?
-That was intentional, watch some live videos
-That seems fair to me as some one that didn't preorder
-Why would they do that for that reason? It's obvious that the SH crowd isn't their primary target
-So? You don't have to buy them all. Would you prefer they made less guitars so you have less options?
Not a thing you said makes sense
Re: The Beatles:Rock Band information thread *update 8/08*
It sucks that the hofner is right-handed, that's pretty ****
But yeah they are selling 3 guitars but only only the hofner bass is in the bundle.
