great , one problem i have had is sync issues but after the calibration thing on the forums its better but now i crash every time i complete a song

hey guys . recently i installed phase shift and i have a problem with that!
i have a Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller " for windows " and i try to config the controller with xpadder for phase shift.
i config all the button but in game when i press orange key it wont work . i mean i can see, that orange button actually hit ingame but song will fail !
other keys ( green, red, yellow, blue ) are ok btw .
If anyone can help me here I'd greatly appreciate it...

Why are you using Xpadder? The game should auto detect all XBOX controllers.

yes i know that but i want to config my buttons like guitar hero III setting!
auto detect in phase shift wont use triggers on controller :(

so iwas wondering if there was a way to get PS to play more hopos like FOFIx, i really like a lot.. even too many. just makes it a less stressful on my right hand.
fofix has ho/po frequency then you can put "most" and there is a lot

is there any cheats for phase shift like that?

You could try enabling eighth_note_hopo in that songs option...you'll have to enable it for each song though. It should work for customs & most RB songs(minus the songs with hopo_threshold updates). It will not work in any of my/our GH Series songs(band games)...as those all contain hopo on/off notation & PS will use those over anything.



ps: Glad you giving the game a try spZ, its been a long time coming! Lots of GH Series songs that I've ripped(mostly DLCs) that were not previously available to FoFiX.

Wow new old DLC? awsome! Yeah I like how smooth Phase Shift runs. I just have to get used to this Hopo issue..l think i need to get better..lol

How do you set it to full screen?

EDIT; Nevermind! I found it BUT uninstalled the game once I seen that you couldn't adjust the accuracy to be alittle more friendly or increase/decrease HO/PO's like you could with FoFiX. IF I'm wrong about this, please let me know. IF I'm right and you can't adjust such settings I'll stick with FoFiX.

the only thing you can change is the hit window, and that counts as a cheat and disables your scores.

honestly.. its a game... if you play a shooter you don't get to adjust how much ammo you get or how much health you get.. I dunno why everyone thinks these games should allow you to change the mechanics like that...

Alright! Thanks for clarifying that for me.

I only play this type of game solo and for fun and like a little room for error with the accuracy being a little friendly in terms of being slightly early or late. It's not a big deal, just a personal preference, kinda like when I played RB3 for the first time where everything needed to be spot on in terms of strumming, quickly went back to GH with it's a little more friendly system.

I will say that it looked awesome from what I seen BUT had more of RB'ish feel to it while FoFiX feels more like GH for me. LOL It's not a shot at the way it is in anyway, simply not for me, period. So like I said it looked awesome and great work by everyone who worked on this over the years, maybe IF I was more serious into this type of game and not playing it simply for fun I'd stick with it.
