There's plenty of cases where the cover version is actually better known than the original

I prefer playing cover songs in these games. One of the reasons I liked GH2 so much. With a cover, it actually feels like you're playing it. With the real songs, the game just feels like a juke box. BORING.

Hrm I guess that could be said of the songs that have really bad recording quality

Playing paint it black in GH3 didn't feel like I was playing it at all. Most of that was probably the GH3 engine though

Maybe... but there were horrible covers like the cover of The Beast and the Harlot... I cried while playing it D:

and yep, maybe thats not what they mean, but they have already said too that there weren't going to be covers anymore... at least I think i saw it somwhere

Did anyone else think the GH3 and past meters were the best? My favorite multiplier was GH3 and favorite rock meter was GH2 and GH1. At least you could see the damn thing.

I actually like the new interface. The graphics seems lots of ...mm...heavier, darker (closer to RB...), but with their setlist I can't understand why xD
