well, I think I found a bug. if you have 2 notes very close together, and you hit the first note and miss the second it doesn't cut the audio out.

was the second a hopo? or were they both strums? details would help them i assume, o.o

i do believe they were hopos.

also have another bug to report, on a dlc song for rock band "breaking benjamin - cold" the entire song is a bunch of hopos and obviously should not be. I can upload the song if you guys need it

i guess this could be something to do with the new hopo phrase code that was put in if its only happening in this release

may be part of the same issue, you may want to stick with v0.77 until dave has a chance to look into this

i just want to add a little piece of info to the audio not cutting out bug, it dosent just do it for hopo's, it does it to any notes that are very close together

I haven't checked this against version 0.78 yet, but when I was making a video for one of my charts in progress, I found that if the video has an audio track, Phase Shift 0.77 outputs distorted sound. I presume there is some problem with trying to play the audio from the background video simultaneously with the chart's audio file, perhaps clipping. As soon as I used VirtualDub to stream copy the video into another file (leaving out the audio), the problem went away. It might be a good workaround to have Phase Shift disable the audio stream of any background video that is loaded, if it's going to play a different audio stream to go along with the chart.

I'll look into this, I can't remember if the stream is just muted or not processed.

Phase Shift V0.79 is now available

Changes Include:
Added Basic Dance Mode
Added New Version Checker
Free Song With Full Version Download

The Basic Dance mode is a work in progress and is subject to change. I'll be implementing more advanced Dance features in the near future.

The game will now also popup with a message box when a new version is available for download.
