I don't mean to rant
I'm new to this website so wats up everyone. I'm grateful that people out there take the time to make songs for the community of this game, but I do have one complaint. Why do people keep making the same songs over and over? It seems like people just frett songs from very mainstream bands and keep fretting songs that have been fretted over a million times. I'm into punk and I can't find any underground bands here, I would like to get together with a person here who enjoys punk music as much as me because the punk I see here is the popular mainstream punk. I have lots of album and I would love to recommend new music so this community can find out about new bands and it would be fun for me to play something I love to listen too.

Re: I don't mean to rant
Welcome, my friend!
Like everywhere, if you're lucky, there are people who like what you like, and others who don't like.
I'm lucky: there are Power Metal fans/fretters here
Apparently, you're less lucky.
I should recommend that you try Tune Request section, if not already done, or start to fret yourself! There are good tutorials in the General section...
I wish you good luck on your search, and good night!

Well I have to admit that I myself have refretted some songs. But if you take a look at it's predecessors, you'll find that they sucked. I only refret songs that were so poorly done, it was like they weren't fretted in the first place.
I like punk to though, I'm in the middle of November by Silverstein and was thinking of doing more after it. I'm not much for teaming up, but just to let you know I'll be working to come out with some Silverstein songs.

Re: I don't mean to rant
Could you reccomend some with good drums?
I'm helping with a drum pack and I'm pretty much outta ideas at this point. xD

Check out the D-beat Genre, they are known for the style they use when it comes to drumming. A great band that would be fun to play when it comes to drums is Discharge. Almost all of their old stuff has great drums.
