Strict with standard, after having tweak the A/V Delay on Tight to have the right note positions. I planning on move on Strict with Tight, but later...

Strict, standard. Reverse HOPOs are stupid and I don't link canyon-sized hopo timing windows (like GH3, grr).

Memes are so funny hahaha I'm splitting with laughter I can't control this laughter at this meme which uses a word incorrectly oh hahaha

:glare:

That was EPIC.

My songs. All made in EOF, beat-synced and note-synced, not very many missed notes.

Strict with wide. Sloppy is cheating! (And it makes you suck at Rb)

Sloppy is not cheating because:

1) It is the style used in GH3
2) It wouldn'tve been put in Alarian if it was cheating.

Strict can be easier for some people, but since I lag every 6-15 seconds (my computer's done that for every program in every profile since I took it out of the box), strict can't work for me

Sloppy is cheating because you can tap random notes during a solo without getting penalized.

Well hitting different different frets than what the next ho/po is is allowed in GH3, but hitting the lower note while holding a higher one isn't. I wish that was removed from sloppy.

Thats the only thing that makes it cheating, if its a ho/po setting from an official game then its not cheating.

I do intend on doing a bit of Python learning to do a 'GH2 True' setting for Alarian (and a 'Noob' setting, which combines stock FOF's tap-to-re-enter with reverse-HOPO... But that's pushing it)

I play with sloppy... I've played with strict but didn't feel any difference... I can do reverse hopos with strict also... so those two are the same for me...

Strict & wide. I dont think I can ever stoop to sloppy, unless it's to 5 star Cliffs of Dover.

Sloppy isn't really stooping anywhere... It's probably the closest we've got to True GH2 HOPO.
