Rest In Peace, Worldrave.

This morning I was given some sad news from both Weirdpeople and Drihscol. On August 19th, Worldrave passed away. We were all wondering why we couldn't get in contact with him for a few months and some time prior to the event and now we know why.

We knew this was bound to happen, but not so soon. We were really hoping to get his Guitar Hero 5 theme done for him to see, but now it will be completed in tribute, and in his honor.
Out of respect, I will not be posting his Obituary, but you can look it up if you really want to.

Can't say I really knew him that well, but from what i can tell with what little interactions I had with him, he seemed like a good guy, and obviously did wonderful work for the fofix community, so with that, I say R.I.P Worldrave.

No unfortunately not. We've had a lot of trouble with the coding, and WP had to re-do a few of the things I did for it(my monitor was screwed up when I made them and I didn't know), and FoFiX has continued to change throughout all of this. Also, the guys were looking for WR's input on certain things pertaining to that, it's only now obvious as to why they couldn't get a hold of him.

We know a lot of people are tired of hearing this(believe me, we're tired of having to say it), but we do still plan to complete the theme. Like 'tallica said it's just a shame WR won't be around to see it.

I don't know what he had but he was pretty sick a long time. For example sometime a year ago i asked how he had been doing. He said things about weekly blood draws and being in the hospital a lot, All for whatever disease he had.

Whatever it was he had been battling it a while.

His family asked for donations to a cancer clinic in lieu of flowers so I believe he had some form of cancer.

I never talked to the dude, I knew him through his generous actions for contributing to the site with his perfectionism of theme's. Its nice you folks recognize him. I can only wish I was thought of in an internet forum when I do the same.

It's weird that you never think about there being real people behind these names until something like this happens that makes you see things in a different light.

I didn´t know him well, but he did a great job in this community. I think although he died, this community will stay alive and his contribution is one of the reasons for that.
