No, he has a point that there are people who try to authenticate autographs. I'm just wondering why you think you're 99 percent sure its fake. I mean it is a short period of time from when the CD came out (late feb 1994) and when he died (early april 1994) but it still makes it a possibility, since the cd did not come out after his death.

Because there's a 1% chance that it's real. Seriously just think for a second.

Try to sell it on eBay. Some Cobain enthusiast will buy it, realize he got ripped off, then sue the crap out of you and all you can back it up with is "OH THA CD CAME OUT B4 HE DIED IT MUST BE REEL"

This autograph is FAKE! You are terribly confused, The CD was recorded at a show on February 22, not made on February 22. These imported or bootleg cds take time to manufacture. Cobain died about 4 weeks after this concert was performed. I HIGHLY DOUBT the recording was mastered, digitally transfered, factory produced, shipped to its destination, sold to ssomeone and signed by Cobain in that time period... Just like the Unplugged in NY, the show obviously happened when Kurt was alive, but released after death. The CD was not made on February 22, the recording contained on it was.
Dont feel bade, you paid $2 for it. The cd alone without the bogus signature is worth $20 - $30 alone, so you still made out:)

I am not sure if this was mastered, I read that it was recorded from an FM broadcast in Italy where the concert took place. Haven't found any info. on the release date of the CD, but I do know that it was released by a company called Live Storm, that's no longer around.

It takes like 3 months for a dead thread to get shoved off the first page. Lul
