MGS4(PS3) - TBH though I don't think the MGS games are very long(unless you count them each as a "part" of the story, which basically they are), but they are really good.

FFVII(PSX), VIII(PSX), and XIII(PS3)

Legend of the Dragoon(PSX)

Chrono Trigger(PSX) - Originally on SNES, but there is a PSX version too

I'll try to think of more later. Also sorry, I know most of my suggestions were PSX games but it's all I can think of right now :P.

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

Valkyrie Profile 2 - I love the art direction and the gameplay is rather fast. I'm not very far along in it, it is rather long

Odin Sphere - Cute but action packed. Sad that it's on PS2, PS3 with the game's high res sprites would have done it justice and cut out the lag. It has 7 stories, each which can take 4-5 hours.

Nightmare of Druaga - A good dungeon crawler but rather punishing. I have fun with this just popping it in occasionally, it works well both as a casual and serious game and with the quests and difficult dungeons, it'll definitely keep you occupied. You can probably find this for $3-5 nowadays.

Rogue Galaxy - I just recently got this and am having a blast. It promises at least 40-60 hours of gameplay, and it has a nice battle system. If you liked the Dark Cloud games, this is by the same people, but I personally feel this is a bit more fun.

Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland - the only harvest moon game that I've enjoyed, probably because it's rather stripped down. No worrying about marrying people, just build relations with the people around town and advance thr ough the story so you can save your town, or watch it turn into an amusement park. 9 different endings makes it rather fun, however money carries over and once you get a kitchen and enough animals there's no reason to buy anything. After awhile you'll have tons of money and nothing to spend it on other than the occasional medicine.

I second that, not the lengthiest game in the world but holy hell I sh*t my pants the whole first playthrough. The most awesome gaming experience I've ever had.

Between Good and Evil

I wanted to enjoy Shadow of the Colossus but when the game is running below 20FPS more than it's not, it's really hard to enjoy myself. Laggy inputs and choppy images just kill whatever fun I'm trying to have.

Also, isn't it Beyond Good and Evil?

Shadow of the Colossus... The boss fights are fun, but have fun spending 20 minutes going from the start point to the fight. The game world is very barren. If you can put up with it though, the fights themselves are worth it usually.

You forgot the <20 FPS.

This game would have been a million times better if it was released on the GameCube or the Xbox. Also would have been better if Team Ico didn't try to push the PS2 to do what it's underpowered hardware can't.

there is also the fact that the only things you EVER fight are the giants so it really does have 20 minutes of nothing between each fight. I hope you like riding horses.

This seems like it would make actually SEEING an enemy all the more important though.

SotC was supposed to come out this spring for PS3, I wonder what happened to that.

Well, if you have a good enough computer you can play it with PCSX2 at 50-60 fps

My computer runs the game at a solid 60 FPS but it still feels sluggish.
