Why spain is the best country in sport?

Best league? Not really, only 3 good clubs, with the rest barely decent. World champions? Almost every country has been at some point, not to mention Spain lost 4-0 against us, and barely beat us in qualifications. The ITA rankings change constantly, the #1 hasn't always been spanish. Spain doesn't even get the best results in the Olimpiques, so it's not really fair to claim it as the best country in sports.

Since the only subject at hand here I know anything about is (association) football, I guess I'll talk about (association) football.

Crazy.neo has it right. La Liga might feature possibly the two best teams in the world, but they are essentially the only teams in La Liga. None of the other teams can even get close to their standings in the tables (most seasons, at least). The only competition they face is against each other and the Champions League.

That means not "best ligue."

The best answer goes to susald,because that's the truth....If there were more competition among more teams if it would be the best football league. But what matters here is not the football, is the music,music and more music.

sevilla is not in the best moment but in a normal year is at the same lvl than the others

Firstly, don't know why you're comparing Real Madrid/Barcelona to Atlético Madrid using the Europa League, considerig neither Real Madrid nor Barcelona played in the Europa League. Also, your point that Sporting Gijon beat Real Madrid is irrelevant. Read my first post again. I said that Real Madrid and Barcelona are nearly always untouchable in the League tables; I never said anything about going undefeated.

And your last statement seems to sum up the first clause of the second sentence in my first post pretty well. Real Madrid and Barcelona are two great teams. Done.
