Your character development might as well not be there for the countless reasons posted in this thread already... take some criticism and stop making terrible excuses

First off, love these comments, secondly, if it's for a school, you should focus on grammar, character development and an eye for detail. Teachers will eat it up more than any other teen's idea. I would scrap the idea, or improve upon it with more description and characters that feel real, or aren't...bland.
