Tim Foss' Rock Band Network News Thread! Reccomend Bands Too

So, as some of you may know, I work as a song charter (author) for the Rock Band Network, and I've recently got some open spot's in my schedule. I was wondering if anyone knew any good bands that you think would be good in Rock Band. If so, give e a link and I'll check 'em out, and hopefully try to work out a deal with 'em. I'm preferably looking for unsigned or lesser known bands because they are more likely to really like the idea of the RBN than a huge band who already has lots-o-money.

Already contacted Psychostick a while ago, never got a response back so I guess they're not interested.

I'll contact Scenery Channel in a few minutes, checkin' out their music right now. Same for Solar Fragment.

Powerglove, I was actually working with their manager for about a month, but in the end the deal couldn't go through due to issues licensing their songs for use on the RBN (since they're covers made by a company not a band it's hard to get licensing rights for things such as this) :(

Armcannon would end up the same way, since they're another video game cover band.


I'll check out the rest and post back.


Also, finished talking with A City Seren's manager, I'm going to be releasing their song "The Escape" on the RBN! He's currently contacting the recording studio to get the master recordings for it!
