Everybody at school is talking about how they're getting televisions, iPods, game consoles, expensive designer clothing... don't get me wrong, I'm glad that they're able to afford those things, but don't go around showing it all off. Some of us can't afford those things.

A few LPs are on my list... I bookmarked that awesome vinyl site from a while back and I have a lot of those on my list. They're great because they are cheap, and I can get a bunch of those instead of one big expensive thing that I'll never use.

Same here. I can't get anything really expensive unless I can contribute a small portion... which I can't. But I really don't mind, this year, I really haven't wanted anything. The LP's are fine with me... 2 or 3 will make me really happy, and that's less than $50 on my parents end.
