The only rap I can stand listening to are songs by Styles of Beyond, Fort Minor, Jay-Z, and Kanye West.

Other than that, I prefer J-Rock :D

EDIT:
Tupac isn't dead... you kidding me? He still releases songs xD he probably sells t-shirts for a living now.

I don't like rap, I like hip-hop. Same cool beat but with lyrics that have some meaning.

There's a limit on the rap I'll listen to. I only listen to Eminem and Hollywood Undead. They are actually good music and not about hookers, money, cars, etc.

Hollywood Undead is making rap worse than it already is.

I give it a 5/100
I think rap is a contest to see how many times a person can swear.Tons of rap songs have like 99 swear words.
if you're reading this, you probably copied and pasted it :)

It's amazing how many people are closed-minded retards. I expect nothing less from a forum based around a certain genre. Some people must think they will earn respect and be "cool" by bashing rap/hiphop after only listening to Soulja Boy on your local music channel. You people make me sick.

"Metal sucks because I heard HIM and Bullet for My Valentine"
"Pop sucks because I heard Miley Cyrus"
"Punk sucks because I heard Blink-182"
"Rock sucks because I heard Nickelback"

I love old-skool rap like Grandmaster Flash, which is the greatest rapper that ever lived in my opinion. His song "The Message" is a 7-minute long magnum opus. I'd like to see any of the MTV sellouts do that.

Topic cleaned.
Please, stay on topic, do not insult other members and do not post useless and empty posts. You have all rights to dislike rap but "rap **** sucks" is not a valid argument. If that's the only thing you can come up with, go listen to some music you like and skip this thread. Any inappropriate new post will be deleted and will earn its poster a warning.
