camtasia studio 6

hello i have camtasia studio 6 (the full version) and i was wondering what the very BEST settings were that way i could get the least amount of clipping possible

my comp specs are
intel(R)
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
2.79 GHz, 1.25 GB of RAM

Clipping? You mean audio clipping? If so...lower your record volume.

i want to make some real good vids but i dont know what settings to use with my comp specs
also i didnt mean audio clipping i ment video clipping

Lower your recording framerate or the amount of screen you are capturing. If Camtasia is compressing audio or video during recording, turn that off and compress it afterward. Other than that, all you can do is reduce resource usage from other programs, such as services that your OS is running, CPU and memory being used by background program, etc. And of course, turn down FoF's visual effects as much as you're willing to go.
