Led Zeppelin, because only one told them before me (WTF guys? ), and many already cited...
EDIT: I was talking of the "original" Led Zepplin, with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham

my mates band (blood red shoes) supported them a while ago...
They play live shows from time to time, the last notable show being Lollapalooza in August. Tom also performs and records for his solo project "The Nightwatchman" (highly recommend, but don't expect guitars with crazy effects. It's mostly folky acoustic), and Zach de la Rohca recently started up "One Day as a Lion" with The Mars Volta's old drummer. As far as Rage releasing anymore albums, interviews with Tom and Zach haven't confirmed or denied anything, but it doesn't look like they are very interested in doing so.
While not currently touring, they do still play live shows occasionally.

EDIT: Audioslave? Good riddance.
Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.
So long, farewell.

Wikipedia wrote:Late in October of 2008, authoritative but divergent views of the possibility of a Led Zeppelin reunion tour the next year were offered by John Paul Jones and promoter Harvey Goldsmith. On the 27th, Jones confirmed to BBC Radio Devon in Exeter that he, Page and Bonham were seeking a replacement for Plant. The bassist remarked: "We are trying out a couple of singers. We want to do it. It's sounding great and we want to get on and get out there." The next day, Goldsmith commented on the prospect of a Led Zeppelin reunion, casting doubt on the possibility or wisdom of such a venture. In an interview with BBC News, Goldsmith stated "I think that there is an opportunity for them to go out and present themselves. I don't think a long rambling tour is the answer as Led Zeppelin." The Ertegün Concert promoter felt the result of the ongoing plans of Jones, Page and Bonham would not be "called Led Zeppelin".
Led Zeppelin is dead, even if they restart it, without Robert Plant, this is not Led Zeppelin, but it's just my opinion right?

Re: Dead bands you wish were still around
I'd say Pantera, they already made it that far with awesome songs, one of the few agressive bands that actually puts feeling in their music.
I also think the same of Stratovarius, they could combine keyboard and guitar very well, just listen to their song black diamond, it's one of the best songs I've ever listened to, less agressive but still as good as any CoB song you will hear.
