Fair To Midland has a new one out this spring.
Alestorm are working on their follow up to Black Sails At Midnight.

And Symphony X.....still need a PR guy desperately.

New MyGRAIN album released here in January too!

Image

As you can see, it's just called "MyGRAIN".
Here's the tracklist -
01. Into The Parallel Universe
02. Shadow People
03. Dust Devils And Cosmic Storms
04. Of Immortal Aeons
05. A Clockwork Apocalypse
06. Eye Of The Void
07. Trapped In An Hourglass
08. Xenomorphic
09. Cataclysm Child

I've already listened to the songs, and if anyone feels like checking it out, listen to "Of Immortal Aeons" and "Into the Parallel Universe", they're both absolutely amazing! The album have already recieved several near-perfect reviews, and have gotten "Album of the month" and "Album of the week" a couple of places too.

If you like awesome melodeath, check this album out!

I listened to a ton of new music this week. All of these came out or leaked this week:

D.R.U.G.S. - D.R.U.G.S. (new band with craig owens from chiodos. it's pretty awful. avoid it.)
Darkest Hour - The Human Romance (solid as always)
Defeater - Empty Days & Sleepless Nights (Probably the best hardcore band out now)
Devildriver - Beast (i've never been huge into these guys but they are way better than most of the other bands in the genre)
Patrick Stump - Truant Wave (yes, the singer from fall out boy. it's a little gay but catchy as hell)
Protest The Hero - Scurrilous (Classic Protest The Hero but i would say it's their weakest)
Radiohead - King Of Limbs (haven't decided how much i like this, but it's good so far)
Sims - Bad Time Zoo (good Minneapolis hip-hop)
Toro y Moi - Underneath The Pine (really chill electronic music)

53 Songs! (Newest: Chiodos, The Memorials, Tera Melos, Defeater)

I'd say Metallica but Kirk said its more of a side project rather than a full album. Bummer. But hopefully they'll put one out next year.

Another one? I like Rhapsody quite a bit but they seem to be pumping them out quite quickly.

Scar Symmetry - The Unseen Empire

Image

Tracklist
01. The Anomaly
02. Illuminoid Dream Sequence - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArELZEYr ... ideo_title
03. Extinction Mantra
04. Seers Of The Eschaton
05. Domination Agenda
06. Astronomicon
07. Rise Of The Reptilian Regime
08. The Draconian Arrival
09. Alpha And Omega

Judging from Illuminoid Dream Sequence, it sounds better than Dark Matter Dimensions. But i still think that Lars should gtfo and join a power metal band instead, he fits Scar Symmetry in no way.

Dark Matter Dimensions sucked
Why is it that the best Scar Symmetry albums have the best song titles?

Dark Matter Dimensions sucked ass.
As for the titles, i think it's because their drummer, Henrik, is a really awesome song- and titlewriter :D
