how many people have a Wii? - post if you do

You might as well call it the Super NES 64, because the wii itself doesn't have any noteworthy games besides the traditional first party games such as Mario.
Besides the VC, wii is also useful in that it can provide a Gamecube component. The GC component cables have been gone for a very long time, so the Wii is the only way now.

I like Wii for Smash Bros and Mario Galaxy myself. I also have a 360 which I use mostly for Rockband

Don't speak for everyone and make general comments like that.
It doesn't have any noteworthy games that YOU care for.
I have a stack of about 7 or 8 games that I would never trade in. I haven't went out and looked for any lately, but I'm sure there are more.
(On the flip side, there are a bunch that I have traded in that ARE crap....)
But the system is MUCH better than you give it credit for.
