My reasoning:

If John lies, then he got first or last, but George got first, and Ringo got first. Nope!
If Paul lies, then he got last, but Ringo got last. Nope!
If Ringo lies then he got first, second, or third, but John is second or third, Paul is second or third, and George got first. Nope!

If George lies then he is second or third, John is second or third, Paul is first, and Ringo is last.

Under the context of what you said, the green house would be made of green bricks, not glass. Since you said "If a red house has red bricks" that means the rest should follow the same rule, saying a greenhouse has glass would be out of context, and therefore wrong.

And greenhouses are made of glass, not green houses.

It wouldn't take you any time to make half a hole, since anything you do to the ground would make a hole.

You can't have a partial hole. If you have a cube, and you punch a hole in it, you change the topology of it, and it becomes a cube with one hole in it. If you keep making holes in it, you just keep adding holes...one, two, three, six, 25, 90873158732, etc. There is no 3.5 or 6.7128712871287128, etc. Even if you have one hole, you can make it smaller or larger however you feel like it, you still have exactly one hole. The amount of holes in any object may only be an integer number.

So you have any dirt hole in the ground of any arbitrary size. You may fill it up or take away from it, but you still have one hole.
