something can be both classic rock and hard rock, some bands might even be described as both classic rock and metal

I'm with drummaniac and tyros...melodic tunes are the best. Metal is fine but fretting is what is key, not the strum bar.

i like mostly metal but i like hardcore rap and country too... not everyone here has some horribly close minded music taste. and also, people like what they like... you don't like it? too bad. :p

gotta agree with Scooter1974 once people have had some experience with guitar games well u end up playing expert all the time the simpler songs jus get too easy and become boring to play still good to listen to though metal is jus faster and if u pick the right bands like children of bodom megadeth metallica u get some very hard solos people are just looking for a challenge

i love metal but i love rock and punk to

ive fretted Reuben - A Kick In The Mouth (Rock) and Pitchshifter - Dead Battery (Industrial)
(i use Feedback)

but once again songs that i like not many people want to slave on making a song that they wont ever play themselves you should jus start fretting songs yourselves and give that little extra choice in the tune posting sections

its not as hard as u may think jus learn how to read guitar tablature and work from there

We need moar Rush!

But, seriously we need a balance, I like playing metal, Enter Sandman's obviously the most fun song on Rockband for all Instruments. Although Rush is "Prog Rock" or "Classic" We only have a few people willing to fret their songs

I feel the same way about metal that a lot of people feel about hip-hop, it just sounds like noise to me but I play the songs because there challenging.

Ain't much of a metal fan, but it is challenging at times. But I'd like to see some hip-hop (perhaps Low and Crank Dat?), s'more JPOP and OPM.

Dave Mustaine (so as hetfield) has not a voice comparable to others I see on previous page. After it depends of people's taste. Idon't like it but it's a correct voice for the type of music.

Anyway, that thread reminds me a guy I read on the internet (I think he reached the top10 of the people I hate the most). He said Metal was the worst genre in music, compared heavy, trash, and death like it was the same thing, and finished by saying something like : "of course, led zep is different, it's rock" -___-
