How many real Musicians? - Who out there can walk the walk?

I was just wondering.

I've been in bands most of my life playing the guitar and I picked this program up to be a sort of Drum trainer, seeing as how I had an electric kit from eBay ($100) and some spare time on my hands. Awesome how it's now available with the hering mod, thanks dude. I was wondering how many people who score the massive points can do it in real life?
Mainly my friends and I get together to play these types of games as a social event, you know something to do on a Saturday night when not gigging or anything. Have a few drinks, play a few songs, have a few laughs. Mostly we play rockband, keeps the noise level down, much quieter than setting up a whole drum kit in the living room and hauling the Marshalls in. Everyone in the little group is a musician and we're not to bad at the game.

So how many of you actually play the real deal? Just wonderin'

i'm no amazing musician but its safe to say i'm a fairly skilled guitar player. gotta say GH and RB have helped alot with my coordination and stuff too. so worddd.

I've been playing the saxophone for 6~7 years, I'm playing the tenor in a jazz combo. We got a gig this sunday, so if you're in the netherlands, gimme a call ;]

I'm not as good at the sax as I'm at the game, but I think I can say I'm "ok".

I've been playing keyboard for 2 weeks now, I don't take lessons, I just use Guitar Pro to learn songs. :p (my version's expired, though)
I can play the full intro of stairway to heaven, child in time, and kill the king (from richie blackmore's rainbow) but since I cant' use GP anymore, I'm forced to learn to read notes... :p

i've been playing guitar since about 3 months before guitar hero 1 came out.

I play the guitar and ukulele. I'm better at some things in FoF, because in FoF you just have to mash contact points instead of placing your fingers in the proper place on the "contact point".

I play drums better than I play Rockband, because I'm not used to using "notation".

I play bass guitar and I CAN play trumpet (and some other brass instruments), tis' all.

And rock band drums, lulz.

i play my guitar hero guitar as a synth guitar.... and my RB drums as real drums (thanx to fretbuzz an drummachine).

Actually I have a fake band, called Geektar.

and since fret buzz uses my GH controllers, I can fret the bass notes as they are played, put in a blank (song length) guitar.ogg, and launch fof with fretbuzz on in the background, and my GF plays the bass notes as if it was Guitar hero (sortof like karaoke synth bass).

Yeah we haven't recorded anything yet but maybe I'll post something. Thanx to the Guitar Zeroes for inspiration!

I play guitar and bass... I also do vocals most of the time (but i ain't that good of a singer)... I'm trying to work on my leads, sucks so far.

I am a n00b at drums.

And now... back to my song writing to record my demos with my friends sometime.
