i have laag problems with the game

has anyone figured out how to solve these problems?

try lowering your frame rate
or try a loyer res mod AKA FOF lite or alarian 8 bit

This is for guitar hero 3 pc or frets on fire because frets on fire runs perfectly on my pc

You have to have a pretty top notch machine to run GH III on the PC. That is why a lot of people were upset when it came out because the requirements were too demanding for most people's computers. Check out the specs on the box and see if you meet the minimum. If you don't, then it probably won't run smooth at all. If you have the minimum specs, then you can probably get it to run smooth at the expense of quality, but if you are just trying to get it to run smoothly, quality won't matter that much (and it's not like it is terrible either).

EDIT: Some things to try: find the video settings and try different combos of these things to see what works best:

1) run at a lower resolution
2) turn down (or off) anti-aliasing
3) if there is a quality setting, turn it down to the minimum

That is where you can start.

Search around on scorehero.com, there's a way to remove the background animations, which is usually the main cause of lag.
