Preliminaries:

Round 1: (5 Days)
3-5 Matches per day
- You face someone with similar skill (IE - You play hard, you face someone on hard)
- Medium Difficulty Minimum
- If you win, you advance onto round 2


Round 2: (2 Days)
4-5 Matches per day
- You face someone with similar skill
- Hard Difficulty Minimum
- If you win, you advance to the finals


Finals: (1 day)
8 contestants, 7 Matches
- Bracket Style
- Expert Difficulty Minimum


So far, there has been 2 days preliminaries.
I was scheduled to play next tuesday, but ended up playing today because of no-shows.

I faced this kid (Zach). I wanted to play 2, he wanted to play 3. I gave-in and we played gh3. The song was "Bulls on Parade". He played on Hard difficulty, so I played on that.

The game started out extremely close, we both 100% the first minute and a half of the song. The screwed up a couple times and started falling behind. But, i kept in it, came back during a couple parts he struggled with, i took the lead, and never looked back. I won 360K to 342K.
We both got 98%, I had a 243 streak, he had a 231 streak.

Im onto round 2, in which I will be playing on the 16th.

1. I did not full combo the TTFAF Intro. (That icon is jurgen, lol). I DO have the highest uploaded score of JUST the intro of the song on fof. (Not the whole song) Plus, it was on FOF, not gh.

2. Yea, i made a few mistakes on Bulls on Parade today. But, the timing is a bit different from fof to gh3.

3. There was no warm up song; they just made us play immediately. I'm just glad I was able to keep my composure when I fell behind, in order to put myself into a position for the comeback.

Get this! The kid I beat yesterday was allowed to sign-up again, and he played today and beat this kid named dan who sucked and went onto the 2nd round.

I beat his ass yesterday and he gets to continue on with me? BULLSH*T!!!

I'm guessing they don't have enough people to fill out an entire seed. I had to run a chess tournament once where kids would sign up and then leave, so we had to make up these matches as we went. It was so stupid, because we'd disqualify kids, then they'd show up like an hour later, and go "Who am I playing?" Noone, you had a game an hour ago, stupid.
