A global Threat- With Mark Unseen.
The misfits- The real Misfits fronted by Danzig not that new metal ****, Jerry Only ruined that band.
The Virus- Fronted by Mike Virus.
Operation Ivy
Black Flag-
Minor Threat- I hate the SxE scene a lot, but I know that Ian MacKaye didn't mean for SxE to get out of hand like it did.
Dead Kennedys- please don't tell me something like they are still playing! That new lead singer is trash! No one can replace Jello Biafra. His singing style is unique and his ideas made great lyrics.
Choking Victim- Yes I know there is Leftover Crack, but in my opinion Choking Victim is so much better than Star **** Hipsters and Leftover Crack.
The Unseen- That new **** is so bad, the unseen was great punk back before they sold out. Listen to So This is Freedom and Lower Class Crucifixion, it will make you hate the new stuff. Their new album internal salvation is like "alternative trying to be on MTV" stuff.
Aus Rotten- Oh man the first time I found out about this band I was so stoked! Their lyrics and music are insane. Even when they kept coming out with new albums and songs it got better and better (Very Rare with punk rock).
Nausea.
Kill Your Idols- Today's hardcore is so distorted and has turn to ****, but KYI kept it real with their hardcore, too bad they broke up.
Cheap Sex- Mike Virus is very good with lyrics because he takes street punk to another level, not bragging about how much 40 oz. he can drink or how spiky his hair is.
RKL- Almost the whole line-up is dead so that's not possible.
Self Destruct- Short lived band, but all of their tunes are pretty good.
Crucifix- Rare to see an American band use the D-beat drum style, but these guys where great in their time.

Re: Dead bands you wish were still around
Ratt (R.I.P Robbin Crosby)
Black Flag (Did no one mention this yet?!)
Sex Pistols
Ramones
Creedence Clearwater Revival
The Clash
Dead Kennedys
Foreigner (at least I think so, their last album was in 1994)
Guns N' Roses (the old lineup)
Jimi Hendrix (did I miss this in the list too?!)
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Nirvana
Skid Row (the old lineup, the band is not much without the Sebastian Bach and Rob Affuso)
Queen (old Lineup)
and more than this. Music has lost a lot of great bands.
