GH4 Speculation? - What do you think will be in GH4?

You know, some songs I'd like to see included in GH4 are most of the songs in this topic, but how about some other types of music? Maybe have some different bands of country or something, like Garth Brooks, Tim Mcgraw, Phil Collins, or even maybe find a better rap song (Bulls on Parade on GH3 was really weird...). While we're at it, throw in some F-Zero or Mario, also. XD

How about some type of 4-player mode? Co-op Versus or a 4-Player free-for-all would be some cool ideas. Also how about a co-op storyline, with 4-player guitar battles? Maybe even in the single player story, have a free-for-all guitar battle between you and three other guitarists. If You won that battle, you'd very carefully put down your guitar, polish it, buff it, etc. and then smash someone else's guitar.

Yeah I'm just throwing out whatever I can think of right now. I really love the 4-player mode idea and hope that that will be implemented.

The problem with songs from Nintendo games would be the rights to that music. RedOctane would have to shell out some serious dough to purchase those rights. Bulls on Parade wasn't really rap, just...Alternate rock? (not sure on the specific genre). Rap in general would be hard due to lack of guitars.

I'd rather see it on Rock Band 2 (if being made). Harmonix did a hell of a lot better job creating the note charts. GH3s just sucked ****. And not int he good way.

SoaD needs to be in SOME game. They haven't been in any Guitar Hero game or Rock Band.

less of the battles and more finnish music like Sonata Arctica and CoB (or a finnish DLC with Apulanta/Kotiteollisuus/Mokoma). And AC/DC, Metallica, SOAD... The stuff everyone has mentioned in this topic.

...the point is to get a new gambit of songs with each game, so they aren't going to keep/return any songs from any of the games. Unless they do a "Best of Guitar Hero".

No, battles suck. Playing is supposed to be fun, and it's not fun when you can't play the song the way it's ment to be played. And most of the online battles end within a minute. so you can't play the fun part, solo.

Expanding 3-or-4-way/Co-Op battle idea:

3/4-Way Battle (Royale Rules): When someone's Rock Meter hits zero, they are removed from the game, and everyone else continues until only one player is left.

Co-Op Battle (Elimination Rule): All 4 players have their own Rock Meter. When one player's Meter hits zero, they are eliminated, but their partner carries on (with a doubled Rock Meter boost for every note they hit). The first TEAM (both players) to be eliminated loses.

Also, I agree with the Ska rock. And some R&B/Rap/Hip-hop/Jazz that DOES have guitar in it (not as rare as you might think). Especially the hiphop that uses Jazz samples.

R&B songs would probably be better for a Rock Band sequel, though. Wouldn't it be awesome to see that RunDMC/Aerosmith collab in Rock Band?

I really would like to see GH4 come up with a new "house band" besides Made In Mexico that actually has good music. And I think it'd be cool to have some video game music.
