who can play guitar? - any one?

Yeah I started playing, about 2 years ago. I stopped for a year cause some issues, so then i picked up the guitar again around the ending of last year. Self-taught.

I can play Red Jumpsuit Aparatus- Face down, Green day - Jesus of Suburbia(One of my favorites to play), Three Days Grace - Animal I have Become... and some more, those are the ones i can think of the top of my head. I have a washburn, not sure what model. An Acoustic synsonics, which sucks. I never made my fingers bleed, i just never found out how.

Anyway www.ultimateguitar.com is a good site, loads of tabs, lessons and stuff.

www.vguitarlessons.com is awesome its more for beginners, sign up and it sends you a lesson every two days. There are 12 lessons in all, and you can buy some video lessons on certain songs.

Oh yeah.. first riff i learned: System Of A Down - Arieals (Intro).

I'm already plucking around with an old acoustic guitar, only has 4 strings an is out of tune but it is fun.

(The other strings snapped while someone was playing it)

I've been playing guitar for about 3 years, and recently bought my Jackson Warrior WRMG for £530 (about $850-900).
Can play reasonably well, and like Fozz, played constant down picking only until recently, which i find actually comes in handy, because once you then learn alternate picking, you can play so fast its unbelivable.

i've yet to learn any music theory however...

Bin playing accoustic for bout nine years, I think the guitar is the greatest instament ever invented.

I don't think you can really compare FoF to playing guitar, but that doesn't make it any less cool.

ive been playing for 11 months and ive mastered most minor and major chords, alternate picking, alternate palm muting, sweeps, im not great but im allright.

I have tried (and failed) serveral times to start a Frank Zappa tribute band with my fellow classmates, so yes, I can play guitar, I am self taught, and I love to make ugly noises with my Les Paul.

I play guitar for 3 years...1 year ago i just learned with the internet, but now i on a music school...and that helps a lot

actually playin with a trash metal band, and it rocks ... but in a far future i pretend to make a neoclassical speed melodic metal band. Lets see what the future have to me!
