I just don't get people that can ask for so much. I mean, ofcourse I'd like to have a new laptop and a long list of other gadgets, but i'd rather just ask for something that costs like, 20 euros or something. My parents spend enough money on me as it is.

Usually, I'll make a list that includes stuff I don't really expect to get but /want/, and make sure that at least half of it is stuff that's reasonably priced that I would actually expect to get.

And you even got the day wrong. You're thinking Winter-Solstice, and that is the 21st. The 24th is still, by most, Christmas Eve. Holy ****! An Atheist celebrating on the eve of Jesus' birth, whatever shall we do!?

And finally, get the hell out. Christmas, Holidays, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, who gives a ****?

And for that matter, you should take note of the fact that the OP didn't even mention a specific holiday (in the title at least) -- just December, a month traditionally associated with seasonal holidays from many different cultures. Jesus Christ.

Hear-hear lys! People celebrating other holidays besides Christmas don't offend me as much as people that get mad because I am celebrating Christmas.
