Well, I still use em, the person I bought the guitar from gave me a pack, so if they were discontinued, it must have been pretty recently.

GHS boomers...I usually get 10 packs for like 30 bucks. 10s go on the Strat and Carver, 9s on Jackson. If you dry the sweat off your stings when you're done playing and then hit 'em w/some fast fret, they'll last a lot longer. :;):

I usually use Rouxinol strings 8D which is a brand from Brazil, the good thing about these is that they come with Nickel, so they tend to last longer and rust waaaaaaaay less(like they stay 4 months alright xD)

But recently I got SG Strings(dunno if they're known or not :p) in a Workshop... going to test them up later :)

I use Knucklehead Super Mullet medium strings. Actually, technically I don't really use them because I haven't replaced my old stock strings yet. I'm trying to practice/play really hard to break them/wear them out, but they just won't die. Maybe I should just replace the old strings anyway?

Just a side question: how often do you replace your strings? To keep things on topic, after three responses to this question, no one is allowed to respond to my question anymore.

Well, I have a Fender Squire Strat Standard series with a fadish red finish.
Its a very pretty guitar, and plays rythym and lead well, but Im more of a gibson/ESP guy. I are want a new guitar.

And, I use Ernie Ball Ultra Thin Strings, cant remember the official name atm, dont have any backups, I've used em all, seeing as I have played about 9 gigs this week with my friends band as a guest guitarist. =D
GUITAR. METALLICA. RAWR!!
