I rest my thumb, well I actually push my thumb up against the 1st string If I'm playing any string other than the 1st. Not only does this mute the string but gives a better "grip," lets you pluck harder.

I do hit my fingers on the pickups because it gives me more time to lift my fingers up again.

Yup, a 12 string acoustic with only 4 strings on it XD

My brother breaks strings so much on his electric he just steals strings off of it.

Erm yeah, my webcam is the only camera I have available, so I had to use this! The software that comes with it is probably as bad as the camera, and I don't have any photos from gigs, as the band I am in hasn't had people taking photos (I took over from the other guitarist when he went to University).

But this is me and my first guitar, it's pretty old now and was pretty cheap back then. I also have an ESP M-1000 and a Hudson Dreadnought Acoustic, but I will take photos with them when I have a better camera/better software. Also sorry for being so damn ugly.

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.
