A shock to me, too. Most of the people in the symphony I play in listen to pop music and stuff, which I find rather annoying. And another large chunk of them don't really listen to anything (I think).

wat

This is very surprising to me. How do you play in an orchestra and not be an avid music fan? waaat

OH. Wait. Are you talking about a school orchestra by any chance? Just to clarify, my examples were not.

stereotype: anyone that thinks disturbed is metal doesn't like anything heavier than "slipknot" and is generally stupid

I was gunna say that's a lie, but I remember telling multiple people that Disturbed sounds more like hard rock so yeah...

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

I have some friends that would likely say Disturbed are metal and listen to stuff heavier than Slipknot. Myself included, I'd say Disturbed are metal (or nu-metal, but in the case of Disturbed, I'd consider it metal if I had to say either rock or metal) and I listen to much heavier stuff (eg. Emperor, Brain Drill, Cannibal Corpse). Oh, and I'm not stupid either.

this.

also, the only thing that i really fall under as a metal fan is having long hair.

Another sensational post

The Bones episode "Mayhem on a Cross" is full of awful stereotypes about metal fans.

People who love hip-hop, love clubs.

Anyways, people who listen to trance music take LSD or Ecstasy.

I dunno about drugs, but judging from my friends who are into trance, they sure drink a lot.
And usually it's not beer, but vodka and stuff like this.
