Get In The Ring 2 At The London Astoria Kentish Town - Sick Gig battle of the bands setup featuring Evile, Engel, Goat The Head and Viking Skull Evile won the battle which i think was a dismal band sucked on the night Engel and Viking Skull Ruled ended up meeting Ville Valo(HIM) he was one of the judges he had to refuse our offer for herbal remedys because the gig was on Rockworld TV and he didnt wana get caught also chatted up some of the Rockworld TV Presenters
Download Festival 2008 Donnington Park - got there 2 days early after breaking down halfway there on the M1 North think it was there soo it was a releaf to get there got pissed and everything else fell asleep using a Boot as a pillow on the night b4 the bands started saw Seether, Disturbed, Motorhead, Skindred, 36 Crazyfists, Pendulem(Gothic Chicks Grinding up Against you that was great) Incubus (in a circle of herbal remedys away from the crowd), Offspring, In Flames saw some other bands cant remember who though... Unfortunatly missed Johnathan Davis And Children Of Bodom

I think Les Paul, and acoustic (all I remember...). Funny thing about Neil. The lights were out and after Subdivisions Geddy came up and said, "That last song featured a very special friend of mine, he's very good at what he does. (He was talking about himself on the Synth.)" Then THe light came on in the back and Niel was spinning around on his set with his hands in the air. Awesome. He did a Drum Solo on Narcissism and spun around on his set and went to electric half way through and then went back.

I have been to but one concert but it is easily the best first concert anyone could ever hope to go to. This year I caught Rush as they came through Edmonton on their Snakes and Arrows tour... it was utterly fantastic. Peart had an 8 minute drum solo after Malignant Narcissism and it was absolutely mind blowing... FANTASTIC... I pitty the band that is my 2nd concert because it is going to be hard to live up to the standards left by Rush... Though I am going to see Satch in October...

Haven't really been to any in a couple years now besides one but kept most of my ticket stubs so I'll list them all and ones I can remember that I no longer have the stubs for.... as you'll see I'm really into classic rock and oddly most the bands I've seen either have founding members who left or died.. you'll notice the trend.
The Allman Brothers Band - Gregg was amazing; of course no Duane but Derek Trucks is amazing and I think Dickey Betts was there as well but anyways it was a great performance; possibly my favorite.
The Doors - Obviously not with Jim Morrison but with Ian Astbury of The Cult; I actually seen them three times before Ian left.... two were great shows the first one they let everyone crash the stage during their closer track Soul Kitchen; second one was sorta ruined because it was an out door show and the area has a freaking noise ordinance so they cut the amps down half way through the show which is retarded. The third show was in an old opera house had balcony seating right over the stage which was odd but a great show non the less.
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Far from the original line up because of that plane crash that killed most of the band in 77' but it was still a great show had front row and even though I never heard Ronnie Van Zant live for obvious reasons his bro did a great job on vocals.
The Guess Who - Sucked; was totally pissed off because they were touring as the Guess Who at the time when the only founding member there was the freaking drummer; no Randy Bachman or Burton Cummings; I mean without them there is no Guess Who.
Ten Years After - Surprisingly a great concert considering lead singer/guitarist Alvin Lee is no longer touring with them; had to go see them though because I'm still big fans of Chick Churchill and Ric Lee.
Steely Dan - Honestly don't recall much; was probably drunk but I think it was a great show.
Moody Blues - Not really a fan but friend bugged me to go; wasn't all that bad.
Pink Floyd Experience (cover band) - I heard they were one of the best Floyd cover bands so went to go see them; they put on a really good show; probably nothing in comparison to a real Pink Floyd show but still a good experience; loved the huge inflated pig floating around the concert hall.
also... while talking about cover bands and Floyd a friend dragged me to another show I really didn't want to go to but it turned out to be pretty sweet which was.
Easy Star All-Stars - They did their Dub Side of the Moon which is actually pretty sweet.
Only two sorta modern'ish bands I seen one was a ways back that's.....
30 Seconds to Mars - Was just when they first started touring; concert was actually in a small bar.... Don't care too much for the band but it was a decent show... Jared Leto came off the stage and started moshing of sorts with the audience sorta bumping around and knocked me on my ass...... got to meet him after the show which was ok I guess.
and lastly
The Sword - Most recent concert I went to back in May was pretty sweet; was some other bands there too but can't recall any names; show was cool even though I'm not a huge heavy metal fan.
That's about it I think.

Shouldn't this be in offtopic?
Anyway, I really haven't seen any real big artists, but I really want to see Aerosmith or AC/DC.

Yeah, it's kinda funny seeing Geddy on bass, then singing, then Synth in the music videos.
He's cool.

I saw Pearl Jam like a year and a half ago, or something. It was pretty kick ass. It was their second night here, and and apparently some arsehole went and cheated on his gf (who was a huge Pearl Jam fan) just before the show. Anyway, Vedder heard this and completely trashed the ****** on stage, called him an ******* and we all made fun of the ******. Then he dedicated a song to her. Was pretty classy.
I'll be going to Alice Cooper next month, which is gonna be kick ass, as we might be going back stage. Last time he was here I missed it but my sister's bf was working on the crew and got to meet him, then afterwards I found out I could have worked the show with him and met Alice! I was quite tempted to pop him for that!
Oh, and I saw Hollywood Rose, a GnR cover band. They were ******* awesome. They look, moved sounded, and played just like GnR (from what I've seen from concert footage anyway). The crowd was singing along with them and the played the best GnR song ever, which is Civil War.
