Spiderman 3 - Who has Seen It?

I remember I was kicked outta the theater during the movie for yelling "SPIDEY'S GON EMO!!!!!!!!!"

LMFAO i did that too but i ddint get kicked out

I wouldnt have gotten kicked out if I hadnt thrown my popcorn at the screen, thus hitting someone on the back of the head.

I went to the 12:00am opening night showing. I love those cause of all the like-minded individuals that attend. We yelled all kinds of crap at the screen, but most was appreciated by the rest of the crowd. Ex: (SPOILER!!!)









When Emo Parker is dancing with Gwen in the jazz club and kisses her right in front of MJ, and there's that huge silence where you're all "oh snap," I yelled at the top of my lungs "WHAT A ****!" Everyone laughed, merriment was had. I didn't get kicked out cause everyone else there was thinking the same thing and no one ****.

As far as the rest of the movies go, I liked #2 the most. Doc Ock kind of sucked in the comics, but they made him way cool for the movie, which I liked. It was also the perfect balance of drama, comedy, kickass, and "villain not looking like a power ranger" (cough green goblin cough)
SM3 takes the cake for effects tho.

I'm disappointed that neither of the green goblins got to wear a purple hat. The purple hat is, like, the most awesome part of being a goblin. The movies took that away =(

technically it was the green goblin in the 1st movie and the hobgoblin in SM3. but yeah he should have had the purple hat.

What the hell was the point in the saturday night fever bit, i know he was getting more confident cos of the symbiot, but it was really over the top, id say that was prolly the worst part of the movie, actually thinking about it , now ive seen it twice ( coz my bro has a copy ) i really didnt care much for most of the movie, the SFX were excellent but the movie itself was quite poor i thought.

And just out of interest, what on earth has this got to do with FoF lol

That was wicked funny and you know it. SM movies are great cause they keep the corny charm of the comics, but in a new age.

And this is General Discussion, so technically it doesn't HAVE to have anything to do with FoF.

nahhh .. the S.N.F bit was funny for like the first 20 seconds but then after that i just thought" oh come on! " it was over done in my opinion.

And im not gonna get into an argument with you, because i consider you one of the good guys, plus coz im bloody right LOL. but ..technically. this is an FoF forum, to discuss all things FoF, yeah ! we have a section to discuss installation issues, one to discuss mods for the game, and a general discussion area, for the times a question ( or answer ) doesnt belong in one of the other sections. But it is still to discuss FoF related things and spiderman isnt realy anything to do with FoF ( if it did that would rock big time, Spidey wailing on an axe, that would be kick ass ).

Phew sorry bout that i know i kinda went a little " off the chain" there, wasnt meant to sound like that Lol, all i really meant by my initial comment was it seemed a little outta place , normally i come in here and theres stuff like, " FoF wont work help me now!" or " new song for download" and today i come in and what do i see..Lol " what do you think of spiderman 3? " . Id just got in from work put my computer on, sat down ,started rolling a smoke when i looked up and saw this thread i actually said out loud " huh? ??? what the funk! " Lol

Lol not too bad, ive got the body cut out and sanded down and its got a coat of primer on it, but i cant do too much at the moment, good old british weather its rainy time in spring again. and all the painting has to be done outside, im not spraying cans of paint in my bedroom like last time, it should be a lot easier this time, coz im doing all the bodywork round my dads and he has some major tools, a milling machine, bandsaws , all good stuff for woodworking. Plus he's good at this sort of stuff. so as soon as we get some half decent weather ill go round his and we can do some more work on it.

um, actually it wasn't the hobgoblin in the third movie, it was just harry with his dad's gadgets. the hobgoblin was someone imitating the green goblin for his own personal gain, and he had no relation to the osborns.

Well, I noticed back in SM1 Peter's science professor, the guy with one arm. In the comics he tries to use lizard DNA to grow back his arm, like how some lizards grow back their tails, but turns into the lizard-man villain. Peter invents an antidote and turns him back into a human. Can't see them putting that corny story in a movie though.

Other villains... hm...
Well they did away with the symbiote, so they can't have Carnage. Pity too, I wanted to see him and Venom fight.
The Rhino? Perhaps? Also a ridiculous villain...
There was that guy with the sonic/electricity shooters on his hands...
The Beetle, though I only remember him from the Ultimate Spider Man game.
What if they do that story arc where Spiderman meets the Fantastic 4 and he keeps getting in fights with the Human Torch? I think they had to finally get over it to fight a common foe or something.

the lizard man is actually called "The Lizard"

But he'd be a decent main villian, the Human Torch sounds pretty cool though, but I doubt Johnny Storm will make in Appearances in Peter Parker's NY.

they're almost definitely going to do the lizard arc... forgot about rhino and shocker... they could do carnage, but it'd be weird without venom. that was the one thing that disappointed me. venom is supposed to be spidy's arch-villain. he's supposed to stick around forever. that's the only bad thing that raimi has done with the series so far.

anyway, i've prettymuch narrowed it down to lizard, rhino, shocker, or the kingpin. it's going to be interesting since they have another 3 movies to make, but are running out of villains!

the only story arc that they could do that i would not like is the mutation arc, where spidy mutates. i thought that was so fricking dumb.
