Re: Skyrim
Time is really irrelevant when we are talking about Bethesda. Their games are always bugfests.

Re: Skyrim
I've played the game for well over 30 hours, I made it to level 40 before my break ended, I don't actually own the Xbox or game I was playing on, but I didn't come across any bugs, except maybe ones that involved their super glitchy horses but those are just hilarious. Tbh, I think it's one of the best games I've ever played. It's really addicting, I got hooked on it by just watching it being played.
Re: Skyrim
One thing I don't get about this game, is that it seems like the kind of game I'd normally get addicted to within 5 minutes and wouldn't be able to stop playing until I'd at least finish the main questline, but I just got bored of it so quickly. My character's, like, level 4, and I just haven't been able to make myself play it. From my personal experience with it, I wouldn't say it's the best game I've played that was released this year, and I've only even played one other game from this year, and I've never even seen anyone mention this other game on the internet, or anywhere, really.

Re: Skyrim
Random question; should this be played on PC, or are the console versions OK too? (or better? I don't know)

Re: Skyrim
PC has way better graphics then the console versions, but you need a rather beefy PC to use them.
Re: Skyrim
Duck graphics. Every game ever is better on PC due to customization (like mods) and better performance.
Re: Skyrim
I'm using some UI Mods and graphical mods that basically make vanilla unplayable for me now.
Re: Skyrim
One thing I find annoying is the world map. There should be a setting to change it to 2D, so it doesn't lag like hell on lower-end systems.

Re: Skyrim
OK, playing it on PC has some massive advantages (mods mainly). But my laptop can't handle it and I'm not planning on getting a system/ that will. I could get it on Xbox however, that's why I asked.
Does anyone have any experience playing it on a console? Are the controls OK? etc

Re: Skyrim
Do it, man. The game was made with consoles in mind anyway. The controls will be fine, haven't played it on an actual xbox, but I've tried it with a controller on my lap (for research purposes, duck off) and it's ok.
