Well, I has AGP. nVidia GeForce 6200 256MB. Handles the games I play, but I'm not tryin for Crysus or for that matter the sims. I just play FoF, SuperTux, SuperTuxKart, BZFlag and OpenArena.
1) I use Linux. No Call of Duty for me.
2) For cryin' out loud... I gots a 60GB PS3 for this reason.

I do mean most new games, the only apg card i know of that can handle all new games would be the only 1 gb agp card. But the newest game i can play is timeshift on the Geforce 6200 256mb. But a lot of requirements of these newer games require something that can process physics, which is what most (or all) agp cards cant do properly without tremendous lag.

1gb cards have been a scam up until recently, most cards can't process fast enough to make use of it
you can count the amount of games that use gpu-based physics on one hand, and none of them work on AGP cards
