Well, I has AGP. nVidia GeForce 6200 256MB. Handles the games I play, but I'm not tryin for Crysus or for that matter the sims. I just play FoF, SuperTux, SuperTuxKart, BZFlag and OpenArena.

1) I use Linux. No Call of Duty for me.
2) For cryin' out loud... I gots a 60GB PS3 for this reason.

I assume by "new games" you mean "5 year old games" because most AGP cards don't even have SM3

I do mean most new games, the only apg card i know of that can handle all new games would be the only 1 gb agp card. But the newest game i can play is timeshift on the Geforce 6200 256mb. But a lot of requirements of these newer games require something that can process physics, which is what most (or all) agp cards cant do properly without tremendous lag.

<@away_xbox> Diffuse the timer by cutting the correct wire. There are 14 wires. They are Green White Peenus Indigo Black Gold Grey Brown Violet Turquoise Teal Magenta Mauve and Yellow.
<Amak11> oh really
<Belisario93> hmm
<Amak11> !cutwire Peenus
<@away_xbox> ...snip....
<@away_xbox> Amak11 cut the Peenus wire. This has defused the timer on the TNT! Just try and get it off you without setting it off, ok?

1gb cards have been a scam up until recently, most cards can't process fast enough to make use of it

you can count the amount of games that use gpu-based physics on one hand, and none of them work on AGP cards

AGP is still good and can handle most new games with ease.
