We can wait. We waited god knows how long for guitar on United Forces. A week or two can't kill.

I'll do vocals on Metal Milita, but I sound like crap doing thrash vocals. Can I do black metal growls?

No

lol

but I'd like to see you try both (thrash and growls). Then I'll try mine and we'll see which of the 3 sound the best (assuming no one else tries)

I just listened to "United Forces" and my face melted off. I need a mop.
dance along the fault line; feel the shaking in your bones,
lose the tension in my throat, and live for something.

Ok...

So, after all I've found a little time to record drums for Metal Militia.

If you want my sincere opinion, I think it's pretty god damn good if you have in mind the time I had to record this (like 15 min...took me 3 takes to get this).

Please be kind on the "Dude, you suck!" kind of commentaries because, really, I had very little time to do this 100% flawless but I really think that with the other instruments, all my flaws I'll be unnoticed.

HERE you'll find the Original version of Metal Miltia, that I used to record while I was listening to as well as my drum track. Just so you know, I was playing at the same time I was hearing that version, so if you all do the same, you won't have to worry much about getting off time. It's much more easy to record like this instead of just following my drums (if you try to do that you'll probably go nuts...). Oh, I almost forgot, I made a "Big Rock Ending" (by the time the original version fades away), so don't forget to do a "smash guitar" kind of attitude on that part, ok?

Have fun people!
(Or at least try to...I know I suck but do you have anyone else? No, you don't. So go f*ck yourselves...LOL...just kidding...)

Hasta!

Which one are you talking about? United Forces or Metal Militia?

Vedi, I think you should update the OP, now that we have a new song that belongs on the WIP section. It's just so that anyone who sees the OP knows what we are doing right now.

Once again, I really have to say "I'm sorry" for the time that took me to record this. But I had quite a hard time lately...got a car accident and all (some dude hit my car from behind and I went to smash my front into another car that was stooped in front of me...god dammit!). Also I'm having a lot of work lately and I'm also trying to fret stuff for FoF Hero 3....lot's and lot's of work at work, at home and trying to solve the car problem. That's why I've took so much time...but I think it was worthy, or am I wrong?

*Sighs...

Anyway, have fun dudes and don't forget to smash this sh*t!

Hasta!

It's honestly epic. Don't worry at all. I'll update the OP as well. I'll try to record bass tomorrow. Sorry about your car too XD

Here's my bass track with your drums. It doesn't sound perfect either lol. Not by a long shot. But it'll sound fine under jdawg or whatever. Also I did a bit of drum editing on the outro. I think you might like it. It's what they did on the original metal up your ass live version.

DUDE!

:woot:

It's amazing when we feel that our work wasn't that good but, with another instrument added, sounds truly epic.

It's totally AWESOME!! I loved that finish!

WE ROCK!! Don't we?

C'mon guitarists, now it's up to you guys.
