Need help with something involving graphics, very easy

Hi. It's been awhile since I've posted around here but I was wondering if someone could PLEASE help me make the white area around this Firebird decal black instead (I've been trying but have run into problems with Photoshop closing and I'm just not very good with it anyway) Help is GREATLY appreciated. Any questions? Feel free to ask, I am dying here.... Oh and yes I want it this size! :) Here's the picture:
