KpChad, I fail to see what the point you're making is. If you're saying Guitar Hero is legendary because it uses a different controller, then the Power Glove must be freakin' EPIC. If you're saying it's legendary because it uses a guitar, listen to omfgdrphil and look up GuitarFreaks. Guitar Hero is not, nor will it ever be legendary. It's not even original. They simply perfected the forumula Konami made and and began riding it into the ground.
I lol'd at Guitar Hero being at it's peak. It's digging it's own grave at this point.

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.
So long, farewell.

Yeah, seriously the quality of GH is nothing compared to GF.

That thing is worth $300.

1. The Powerglove is not a great innovation, well, because it obviously did not take off. I'd never even heard of it. So, it actually equals a fail.
2. GuitarFreaks is the same case. Is it popular? No, so it cannot be epic or legendary. I bet 85% of people had never heard of that either. While, I bet 95% know what Guitar Hero is.
3. As for Guitar Hero not being original, is clearly is. Even if it was already created, but not perfected by Konami, it's still original in how they perfected it.
Therefore; Popularity + Originality + Replayability = Legendary
Plus, there's no limit to how many games they can make because there's just sooo many songs out there that can fretted. I mean how songs are there for FOF? Quite alot...

Stupid argument. so if you'd never have heard of Hitler or Ghandi, they wouldn't have been legendary at all. It's naive and selfish to use yourself as the standard.

Again, something can be legendary without the majority acknowledging it. The mass usually hypes commercial stuff, where the little beauties get no attention at all. Ever played Psychonauts? It's a HELL OF A GAME, but it was refused a sequal. But ****** games based on multimillion movies (hulk, hellsing, spiderman) get multi-platform releases and several sequals. They are well known, but not near a legendary status.

"Original in the way they perfected it". BS. Listen, I know it's better if you've stolen something good than invented something crappy in the gaming-industry, but using a good idea another company made and perfecting it isn't original. Wow, konami didn't think of starpower, oh now GH is legendary!
You equal fail.

Why are you arguing that Guitar Hero sucks when you're on a forum that plays a replica of it?
