Unlike drug users, I have a goal in my life, it is to succeed, not to become some wasted loser. Sorry to those who use it, but really, you need to stop. It will do nothing for you but drain you and your loved ones of money, and possibly land you in jail. Also being against drugs is not being a straight edge, it's being smart. Also all of those who do, even though yall probably don't care, I'm disappointed in you, and what do you think your parents would say if they caught you.

I'm assumeing that most people around here are the same age groups as myself (17-27), and if so, most of our parents did drugs. I mean, it was the 70s/80s for gods sake.
On that note, cannibus is no worse than alchohol, and is actually far less addictive. It's pretty harmless.

Actually funcoot , as with most people who dont take drugs ( i mean the illegal kind ) most of what your told about cannabis isnt correct.

For starters , just because somebody smokes dope, it doesnt mean there a loser without any goals in life! Ive been smoking dope for just over 12 years now, and i have a very nice job , which pays quite nice, i have lots of nice things in my house ( i havnt sold every thing i own to pay for drugs ).
In fact one of my friends ( who has been smoking for over 20 years now ) was only ever employed once, at Mc donalds when he was 17, he then left there and opened his own company, now hes a millionair, drives a ferrari and has a massive 200 year old house, but still smokes dope!
So please dont tar every body with the same brush !

Right thats the rant over now here is some real published facts about cannabis

cannabis is a mental addiction not a chemical one, which means your body isnt dependant on it.
You WILL do more damage to your body if you went to a smoke filled bar/club and drank a pint of beer, than you would if you stayed at home and smoked a joint!
Cannabis is LESS addictive than coffee but more addictive than tea.
Cannabis aids in about 50 different illnesses, including asthma, infasema, CANCER, M.S , Parkinsons , general muscle pains, migrains and many more that i just cant spell.
Many well known people have smoked cannabis, including Abraham Lincoln, and Englands very own Queen Victoria ( she was the queen around the early 1900's)
There is no toxicity in cannabis, which means there has never and will never be a recorded case of somebody overdosing on canabis ( it is impossible ) where as caffine can kill you ( causing irregular heartbeats)
Cannabis hemp is one of the most sustainable resorces known to man, it has been used for medicine,food, fuel, and paper.

Cannabis drug classification had now been lowered in many countries to class C, which is the same as prescribed drugs.
Nowadays you will not go to jail for cannabis, unless your carrying like a sack load around with you, most times you will get an " on the spot " caution or fine and have it taken off you, it has been known even here in the UK for people to get pulled over by the police and actually had the dope given back to them, about a year ago some guy ( who had parkinsons) got pulled over and he sat there doing his parkinsons shake , explained why he smoked it, so they gave it him back and let him go on his way.

And probably the most suprising fact about cannabis, it wasnt made illegal because it was considered bad for you.The cannabis prohibition was bought into place for a much more sick reason, Money! Just before the prohibition came about, peope had just started using woodpulp to make paper, rather than using hemp , it was then rather stupidly, tied in with the fact that a lot of slaves smoked it, and it was reported how they would lure in white women using cannabis and the devils music know as JAZZ!?! Heh.
The woodmill owners then got together with govenors and other politicians and tried to make it illegal to have anything to do with cannabis hemp, purly so they could push woodpulp to the forefront of papermaking, on the condition that a certain percentage of the money made from woodpulp for paper, would go to the government, which it did. Then basically because america made it illegal all countries that " got along " with them also made it illegal.

Oh and just to let you know, all 4 of my parents know i smoke dope, Apart from my friends at the time , my dad was the first person i sat down with and had a smoke even my Grandmother tried it after she had her heart operation. so no they arnt dissapointed with me.

All true though. A relative of mine smokes weed everyday, and she is the head nurse of her department at a reasonably large hospital.

Also, there was a woman in India who lived into her 120's that smoked it almost every day for like, 100 years. (a bit dubious on this one though, found it on Shoutwire..)

Yeah sorry about the length Lol, i just go on a rampage when people start talking about dope , but they dont actually know very much about it, apart from its bad ( coz they was told that by somebody ) ive never understood why tobbacco and alcohol are legal but dope isnt, when both of them kill thousands of people every day, and dope.... Not one person! ( unless you try driving at 150 while stoned, coz you will die if you do that, Honest !)

It explains all sorts of things about weed, all its uses, urban myths about weed, all sorts of good stuff in there

The key is moderation.. and that goes for pretty much anything - eg drinking, gambling.

I don't take illegal drugs, never have and never will..
I drink on occasion.. but rarely to excess - thats not to say I haven't in the past though.

I don't believe smoking anything (cigarettes incl) is a great idea... the reason that is legal is because there is money in it...

I don't believe that people that do drugs are 'losers' either.. its their own choice.. but when it starts to control their actions/focus and becomes prominant in their lives.. then there is a problem.

Lighting anything on fire and then intentionally sucking the combustion products into your lungs isnt particularly good for the body - however cannibis has been linked to health benefits too... having said that, you get the good with the bad (risk of cancer etc)
