I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

Like I said before I play the guitar but I've never been overly technical, I mostly play from the heart and just let the rhythm flow. Since I tend to sing while playing it just easier. I have found that after playing with a good visual cue, ie. the little scrolling notes, that my writing has gotten more intriquit. Mostly I play a harder stuff, lots of distortion, my friends call it "Shoe Gazing" music 'cause you just play slow and strong and stair down a lot at the ground.

well, I´ve been playing bass for 4 months now, and FoF helps a lot with the agility of the fingers :D
and... I started playing the bass because i liked Guitar Hero XD I have a Stratocaster also, but i play it rarely, prefer the bass

a normal crappy bass :p but well, it was a present for my 18th birthday, so I like it a lot :p FoF helped me with the alternate picking too (yes, I use the GH controller that came with GH3, but my PC is too old to run GH3 xD) and... I can´t play the bass with my fingers. Anyway,I have a good reason to use a pick :p

yea it took me forever to get my scales sychronized with alternative picking, i would always picked faster than my fingers could move

I could probably play faster bass with a pick, but fingers sound better and are a bit more fun IMO.

my axe looks like a Strat, but it's branded Fernando (a local brand here). I'm planning on painting it.

I play piano, keyboard and acoustic guitar.
But I still read on youtube comments like:
"buy a real guitar noob", "lol, you wanna be musician", etc.

im 14, playing guitar for about a year and a half :D
some people say im pretty good and some say i suck but oh well...
and my guitar is a ton of pieces (mainly from old strats) that my dad put together for me (he's worked with guitars for over 20years so its not even close to a **** guitar).
anyway, it looks alot like eric johnson's sunburst strat with the white faceplate (only mine has a dark neck instead of light)
