I have gotten my GH2 PS2 controller to work perfectly for the pc GH3. The only problem is, I can't find out what axis to put the whammy bar on. I either get absolutely no affect, of to where the whammy is held in the exact middle for the whole song. Thanks for any help

What are you gonna be using the whammy bar for anyway?
If you can read this then you've gone too far.

FoF doesn't have a whammy bar function anyway. Just use the whammy bar on held notes even though it's not gonna do a damn thing.

Isn't the axis for the whammy bar the same axis used for the strum bar?

scutch: the dude is talking about GH3 PC >.>

@stoned_smurf: have you tried using Joy2Key? that might fix it for you.

Oh... still it won't work since PS2 adapters are crappy when it comes to GH controllers.

Essentially, yes but that is only because the GH2 controllers are a PlayStation controller and don't get set to Analog by default so it is set to the exact same axis as the strum bar. You won't be able to whammy with a PS2 guitar unless you set the whammy button to select like I plan on doing.

Yeah, I have a PS2 Guitar Controller that I can hook up with GH3, and I haven't found the axis for the whammy bar.

Scutch, the whammy bar is used to get more star power on sustained star notes. Very important if playing face off or single player.
