Getting it for PC when it is released so I can use keyboard, lmao. xD. I already have a downloaded PS2 version that I was playing on an emulator but it got to a certain point in the game and stopped working. (It won't load the first battle correctly, lol.)
Life would be so much easier if we just had the damn source code.

I'm amazed (kind of) that some of you in this thread have been around FOF for a while, and have not seen all of this posted already. Its like 1 day before the game comes out and people are making comments and asking questions like we have never talked about this before. Amazing.
Anyhoo...
Yes, the PC version will work with the XB360 usb guitar.
At this point tho, it will only come packed as a bundle with its own guitar (which sucks for those who have 360 guitars)
ASPYR's website
I'm trying to contact them to see if they have a demo planned, or if they will release a software only version of the game, but they do not respond.
A demo would be cool, because even that could probably get hacked where we could put our own songs in.
Anyways... system specs are huge if you havent seen.
If you have a pentium 4 or lower, you dont even have a chance.
Anyways.. .yes, I plan on getting the 360 version today,
then downloading the cracked PC version whenever it is available. If it does run on my tweaked out P4 machine by chance, I'll just off my 360 version on ebay in the next few weeks and take a $5 hit on it.

Yes, I have to admit that the thought of downloading the pc version if you can't get it without a guitar did cross my mind... Just took a look at the recommended system specs, which are ridiculous to say the least. There has to be some seriously sloppy programming in this game to make it have system requirements alike to Crysis. At least nothing I've seen of the game (the console versions, that is) justifies needing that much processing power.
warhol wrote:# Video Card (Nvidia): Geforce 7600
That's the minimum,
RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHZ or AMD Athlon Dual Core 4400+
256 MB 3D Hardware Accelerator Card
Video Card (ATI): Radeon HD 2600
Video Card (Nvidia): Geforce 8800 GT
2 GB RAM
We'll see how the game runs on different setups and how much room for adjustment there is for the graphics and such. Let's just hope it's not like many other console ports (don't know if this is just ported or if they've actually put some effort into the PC version too) that require so much more than other similar looking games made specifically for computers.
