if it were to happen, i would make a new thread and the fof community would definately be welcome to help

edit: my dream is that the fofix official custom theme would support all the features of fofix, so there would be an option for which type of theme you wanted rb,gh,gh3,wt and the theme would take that shape without having to be four seperate themes

edit2: if custom settings became available we could have a custom scheem also

If we're lucky we could get some new code in FoFiX too, and be able to make a theme completely unlike any other. (I can dream, right?)

I'm making a default Fofix theme and I need notes, I think I have some frets already.
The theme is based on RB wit some RB2 elements.

Just a heads up to you, the default FoFiX theme will be started some time after we decide on a logo and will not be based on any game theme - but definitely feel free to make your own theme, and contribute what you want later on. I only say this so you don't wonder why we don't just use your theme when we start this up later.

Our new logo appears to be the flamey one! As soon as I can dig up my source image, I'll turn it into an icon file, and it may start popping up in the FoFiX alphas.
For now though...

Stranger things have happened, I prefer to remain open to possibilities.

In any case, there is just something about the coloured one that appeals to me.

First one, because I'm bitter about those damn flames. They aren't bad, it's just that FoFiX is a clean, sophisticated modification to Frets on Fire, and the logo should resemble that.

Despite the flame logo winning, I'll bet that the non-flame one will still end up on the google code page. Also, as the "small" icon (eg 32x32 and 16x16) where the flame would probably make it look worse.
And who knows what will happen with the theme?
But the flame one will likely appear in the credits and as the main icon. It has already appeared on the facebook page (and facebook has introduced some nasty jpeg artefacts, so it needs work...)

Also, Paul, I chose the mic one as a kind of future-proof logo. I didn't want to put too many options up, I figure the less choice, the better the results.
To anyone who is reading this before voting (I hope you are) If you want the one without the mic, but still with the guitar and drumsticks, still vote for the one with the mic and make a comment here

I agree on this occasion. Microphone support FTW. Vocal parts are a matter of time (and coding) now... Hopefully MFH can finish off those array optimizations soon.

In any case, there is just something about the coloured one that appeals to me.

I'm my opinion, the instruments are blurry and look bad compared to the clean look of everything else. Maybe try to remove the out glow and see how it looks with it sharper to match. The concept is nice, just looks bad because of it looking blurry. And the glow isn't needed anyway.
