Say, this version computer requirement is high. I have set the graphics to the lowest, still slow. Maybe my sister faults, too many unneeded things in this compy. And if you use 2D notes, it will be too tight, if you miss a note at hopo part using 2d notes, it's very hard to recover back.

---- EDIT ----

And, memory leak, no problems. Just weird, why the game is so slow when using 3D notes?

Failing is quite a resource hog in any version that has it because it checks as often as notes are render. To speed up performance, go into Performance Settings and turn Disable Stage to On, that usually helps, and if that's not enough, change some other in-game things off. If you don't mind losing failing, you can change that to off and it will usually give you a boost. Another problem could possibly be the fact that instead of doing a simple fix for the mesh rendering, I just put in the old 1.2.451 one. I'll change that in the next version.

Great work so far blazing, just a suggestion...

When you miss a note the track mutes entirely, taking the fun out of it  . I've also noticed the speed problem, but I've only tried with 3d notes so far, I'll experiment with 2d later on.

With a little more work, this could be a great, stable alternative to FoFiX  .

Shouldn't be a problem once multiple parts and tracks work.

I've also noticed the speed problem, but I've only tried with 3d notes so far, I'll experiment with 2d later on.

I added troubleshooting to the first post.

I had a feeling it had to do with multiparts. Can't wait for that. This may be an odd question, but does this support 2d frets as well as notes?

grayfox19116 wrote:Also in the failing part, why not make a rock meter (THAT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE ROCK METER FROM ANY OTHER MUSIC GAME). I suggest a bar of flames at the left side of the screen. It gets bigger if it becomes green showing that you rock and smaller till nothingness if it becomes red or you are about to fail and medium if it becomes yellow showing you are ok

This is an awesome idea, but how about a lighter(The whole pull out you lighter thing at epic concerts, everyone should know). If your doing good, the lighter is all the way up, if your doing O.K, the lighter flickers a lot, and if your doing bad the flame is blue, and when you fail it turns off. Kinda like your idea, but with a lighter. But this is what made me think of that.

V2.15 update

-Added GHIII mod (Cred. goes to Worldrave for his graphics) with 2d note and key support
-Added support for 2d keys
-Added Performance Option - Disable Stage Fx
-Updated to 1.3 mesh.py
-Made the failing detection more effective

Download
Download GH Mod
Download GHIII Mod

I say that's enough for today. I don't think I'll be able to get multiple parts working by myself so I'll need a little help.

Excellent work my friend :2thumbsup: . You're almost at a stable point (just needs multi parts and GH2 hopos I'd say). Take a break, you deserve it.

YAY! I was just about to report the failing system. In v2.1, it's decrease too fast and increase too slow. Thanks for v2.15! Hey, this would make the process of making MegaLight theme easier! :2thumbsup:

---- EDIT ----

It seems that MediaFire is down. I can't download. Stupid MediaFire. Any mirrors?
