The latest stable release is now available for Mac OS X. The first post has been updated with the new download link. Future versions will see the Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows versions released simultaneously.

Hm, no update meanwhile? Had to search for this thread again, but seems to be the current one...Just some suggestions:

having many green notes on higher BPMs and smaller zoom levels can cause the notes to cover the measure numbers:

Okay I can still look in the bottom window, but im used to look straight up there, but this time its impossible to read. Placing them a bit higher would spare a lot troubles ;)

Regarding "Clap Notes"..Would be cool if you could select more than one color to be clapped. like setting checks in front of two or more colors. Dunno if that would make much work, but it can be handy in some phrases.

Edit: Or even make different claps for each color, haha. like the sounds avalable for percussion in the "audio cues" menu. Btw, the volumes you set up there, remain only until you close EOF. Would be cool if the settings could be saved somewhere so that you dont need to turn it down each "session".

Since my new computer, EOF has lost it's sound. I've tried this version and 1.8 beta, neither outputs any kind of audio. I have Asus Xonar D2X, and for example foobars volume adjusting doesn't work with it. It's a bug well known by foobar, is this something similar? 'Cause, you know, fretting is prrrretty hard if you can't hear a thing.

Win7 64-bit Ultimate. I tried each compatibility mode, none helped, but when tried using the mobo integrated sound card, I suddenly heard everything. Dammit, I was told that D2X is the best thing to buy, and by specs, it sure is, but the drivers have so many problems with multiple programs... dammit.

So yeah, fixed.

That sucks. It could be a limitation of Allegro, or it could be a bug with that card's driver support as you suggest. When you'd opened EOF, did you get any error messages pertaining to audio, or do you happen to remember if the log mentioned anything?

Everything seems to be just as normal, with the exception of missing audio, no error messages or anything. It seems that EOF is sending the data through my system just fine, but the audio card just refuses to notice it. It isn't much of burden to plug my earphones in the mobo, so EOF is completely usable. My superüber D2X would have no delay on processing the audio and perfect crystal clear sound, though, but I can live with that.
