Is it possible to change the OD or disable the light from the fretboard? I can't see anything when using OD, I miss notes because of that...?!? Thanks!

I can't download hot fix #17 from Mediafire. Does anybody else have this problem? Or does anybody know a mirror? I can download #16.

---- EDIT ----

Never mind... It tried to download from server download5, which obviously is having some problems, because after restarting my browser it downloaded from another server just fine.

No. Redo that without the clipping/distortion. It sounds worse than the new Metallica CD.

I'm not going to respond to suggestions that are already on the To Do list.

I can't help any of you that "report bugs" without so much as uploading that session's logfile. It's ridiculously easy to find now, fretsonfire.log is created in your game folder... so here's the deal. I put a lot of work into making the log provide as much information as possible when encountering a problem. If you can't even be bothered to upload your log file when trying to show me a bug, and I can't immediately reproduce the problem, I'm not going to bother with your bug.

puppetz, if you are referring to the overdrive strings, you can simply remove that file from the theme. Like many other features that I added, that one is completely optional depending on whether or not the appropriate file is there. Look through your theme images and experiment.

The song re-countdown from 60 after a song ends has been fixed in the latest SVN revision, in case any of you just can't wait for 3.020.

(and a good method for keeping updated with this mod is to subscribe to this topic and check the first post often.)

I reported this bug a page or two back, but since I didn't include my FOF Log File like I would normally do I re-posted it. XP

Bug Report:
+Career mode continues to say "Play to Advance" even after a songs completion.
++It only happens with PH3 full career download, which I got from here.

FOF Log File

I know this is a bug that you could not reproduce. (as the first few posts state.)
So if there is anything else you need to know or need me to upload to help you reproduce this then just tell me.

updated to 3.017 and noticed almost NO lag loading, switching between menus, or scrolling through songs! Thanks MFH

I get a "little" lag during game play but I blame my old system:

1.25ghz AMD Athlon and a GeForce 6200 256mb gfx card.

is there known pulloff issues in these latest builds? ive noticed quite a few. in "that was just your life" by metallica it shows up in two different riffs. in this part here if you strum the orange note and pull off to the blue note it fails. theres also another similar pattern in this song that does it.

There should be no HOPO issues whatsoever... I can't imagine how there could be a problem.

If you want me to look into this seriously, you're going to have to provide a video with a logfile of that video's session, with HOPO Debug turned on.

you may not believe it but there IS problems with it. theres parts where i error almost all the time when strumming hopos, but if i turn the hopo system off im 100% perfect every time. that to me is proof positive that theres a problem.
