I run SVN and I'm experiencing 45 - 90 second long load times. at first i though it was freezing at the load screen. I have a fast computer (Dual core 3 GHz processor, 4 GB of ram, ect). Anyone else experiencing this?

Nope, no long loading times for me running python 2.4.5.
How long have you been using the SVN? Just wondering if it's something you've seen recently or if it's something you experience jumping from compiled binaries to SVN/source.

No problems here. Do you use the RunFromSources.bat or FretsOnFire.py or build it to an exe? (I run from sources...)

@krazzyklown, did you start using animated backgrounds?

the spacing is better in list mode now but, the stars are upside down again and fof is still showing 5 blank stars in all themes for songs that haven't been played.

1) they should be right side up now... Are they not?
2) 5 blank stars... what should it be showing?

no there upside down because of the new results screen fix.(had to revert to the old smaller and upside down stars)

i knew i was gonna get asked that question. :) the answer is nothing

Spoiler:Image
when you haven't played a song there should be no star image displayed
wr's star3 is blank and may be a workaround

also all stars list and results should justify to the right putting the blank ones on the left. (but that's just on my wish list)

@KrazzyKlown... You could also have gone into Display settings > stages options (if advanced settings are on) and set slideshow mode to off (instead of in order, random, backnforth or whatever it was). Thet should prevent loading many backgrounds. And if you leave stage mode on random, it'll load up a different stage image every time you play, without the wait.

Those with the win32gui problem:

It looks like MFH forgot to add data/win32gui.pyd to the RC1 patch.

For those who don't want to grab the full version, I uploaded a copy of that file: http://www.mediafire.com/?mmf4jjj1nz0

Put it in your data folder.

Nice catch, I hadn't even noticed that was a new file since 3.030. Updated the patch file list, although this next patch (to 3.100 final) will be the last one to support upgrading from 3.0xx.

Future patches will require 3.100 as a base version, to once again reduce the patch archive size down to under 1MB.

I'm aiming for a 3.100 final release tomorrow evening or Saturday; I'd like to get started on 3.120 and some new things ASAP.

As mentioned before, there will be a new thread for 3.100+. With a much simpler first post, just linking to various important parts of Google Code.
