You must have the wrong type of font in your data folder.

I don't agree. Killswitch is muting guitar sound. In real guitar.

a real guitar doesn't have 5 plastic buttons with a clicky strummer either, itll be ok.

Heh, good point. I think more customizable options is always better.

exactly. since killswitch is the closest thing we have to whammy i'd at least like to have the option of not muting the track, half the fun in playing a song is being able to hear it IMO.

I wanted to give some feedback on memory leaking I've seen with this app. Here's what I've experienced...

As a test I downloaded just the 2.9 version with the GH3 theme. I only put the PHIII songs in the song library for this test as well.

The memory usage is in MB and it will be in the format of physical/pagefile used by this process

Open - 106/113
View setlist - 104/111
Back to main menu - 145/152 <-- Leak
View setlist - 138/145
Back to main menu - 182/189<-- Leak
View setlist - 174/181
Start song and then cancel out (Don't you Cry) - 221/227<-- Leak
Play song all the way through (Don't you Cry) - 370/376<-- Leak
Back to main menu - 413/418<-- Leak
View setlist - 405/411
After playing the same song as above (Don't you Cry) - 489/495<-- Leak
back to main menu - 526/532<-- Leak

Go into options and select a different song folder then close/reopen - 222/229

So it appears that there is a memory leak related to going to the main menu and with playing a song (even the same song).

Python isn't my language of choice, but if I get some time, I'll poke around and see if I can offer some suggestions.

ok, noobie alert...
When I play with 2.9 the audio is fine, but when I install the 2.9.12 full installer and even apply the 2.9.13 or 2.9.14 hotfixes, I get silence when I hit the notes correctly. Any ideas?

The default strum window is set to "tight like a tiger" in 2.9.12. Change it back to "Standard" and you'll have the same strum window you did before.

My complete lack of coding knowledge leads me to ask this question: I've noticed that loading times get longer and longer as I play more and more. Does this have anything to do with the memory leaks mentioned above, or am I just a complete and total noob?
