once the serious bugs are out of the way i have a little suggestion to anyone willing to help...

you know how there is an option to turn the phrases off? is there a way to disable the counter from popping up after 25 notes in guitar hero themes? i've been repositioning the score meter for my gh2 theme and the counter gets in the way =/.

It's great, but.. there's painfully obvious photoshopping.

That would be nice to change the code to use a separate font for the streak, versus the score. If that's done, and just duplicate the score.ttf file and named streak.tff, having the code for the streak point to the streak.tff file instead, i could hand make that gh3 streak font so that part will be done as well. Then the left meter will almost be complete.

also wish there was a way to make the score font more flexible so i can fit each variable in between the counter lines that gh2's real meter has.

Hi all,

First thanks for this awesome mod, i would have given FoF otherwise as the latest build was broken ... anyway now i won't have to start GH3 anymore and i have much more songs to play with :)

I've been trying to check the code, but the 2.9 linux release only included the modded python files, where to find the rest of the files ?

Also is there some step somewhere to build the binary, i installed the latest hotfixes but since they do not change the binary the code change won't apply.

If you people can wait about a week I can get the whole different streak font, and the no streak font pop up functions. I'm leaving today for 4 days so there won't be any new hotfixes by me for a week. See ya.

Sometimes the font looks absolutely horrible, as if it has reverted to the original Frets on Fire font. A couple of times, it worked perfectly, but now it's always the "ugly" font. As far as I know, I didn't change any setting that would have messed with this. I've tried deleting the fretsonfire.ini file and starting over, to no avail.

Any ideas?

Yeah, it's happened on my windows version since I first started using Alarian... It's really annoying, and especially in songs with lyrics it lags the game. Most of the time it works fine for me, and when it doesn't, a restart or two usually fixes it. No clue on what causes it though. It doesn't really make sense...
