FIND THE NEW VERSION HERE:https://www.fretsonfire.org/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=11;t=21859

Hope y'all have been waiting for this too :p This version of the Hybrid Mod/Patch is pretty much perfect except for a few bits here and there -- Hopefully you guys won't notice like I do. ;)

Anyways, dunno if I should really bother with a changelog -- But here goes anyways:

Code: Select all

Fixed score, difficulty & part selection screens.
Improved option & neck selection backgrounds.
Improved fret buttons!
Improved notes, star notes and star power notes!
Improved hit flames/glows!
New/improved necks!
New BPM lines!
New centre lines/strings.
All-new failing screen!
New multiplier lights.
Super-smooth rock meter!
Improved score counter.
Stage background!
New loading screen!
Improved menus.

So I'm only going to distract you guys with some screenshots instead -- Keep in mind, the screenies don't show absolutely *everything* that the mod changes -- But take some time and take a closer look at the screenshots to admire the details.

The new failing screen, not too glamorous -- But at least song titles don't jab through the borders now.

Two downloads this time -- You can either download the Hybrid Mod (includes UC's Ultimate Mod along with the Hybrid Patch pre-installed) or the Hybrid Patch (for those who want to download a smaller file and patch the Ultimate Mod themselves).

So, choose one or the other--
Hybrid Mod (Mediafire)
Hybrid Mod (Rapidshare.com)

Hybrid Patch (Mediafire)
Hybrid Patch (Rapidshare.com)

Oh, this only modifies the GH3 Theme of the Ultimate Mod -- But I'm willing to make a Rock Band Hybrid Mod/Patch if you guys can get me enough reference materials (eg. screenshots) so I know what the menus/notes/keys/general GUI looks like so I can make it.

Anyways, enjoy!

Preety nice looks pretty close to GH3. But rock band does need a big update doesnt look near as smooth as GH3. Also i agree modifing the tails when you hit killswich. would be pretty sweet. But great update keep up the good work.
